Laguna's Golden Sky

This is the third painting in the Laguna series . 7.5x11

I am now working on a 22 x 30. It will take a few days and might or might now work. I am never sure when starting into an art piece whether or not the design, hues and values will all become a cohesive whole.

Along The Laguna 2

This is another of my laguna/river paintings. The goal was a center of interest, with all else of lesser interest. Also to move away form the center of interest and move to duller hues. This scene has afternoon light.

Along the Laguna

This was a fun painting to work on. I need a change of pace so used my fingers wrapped inside a cloth then painted. I could not tell where the paint would go and sometimes the cloth swiped through another segment and left a trace behind. It was fun and challenging to work out a painting in many layers.
