This black cow was out in a field near Marin County in the morning light. She looked beautiful.

This is a painting that after completing it I took to a critique and was told that many parts just didn't work so I tried to correct it but was disappointed in the new look so it was set aside for about 2 years and just recently I worked on it again and am somewhat satisfied with it. I'll probably keep it around to work on again in the future.

This is from my kite series. I have been thinking about painting these for a long time. I saw kite fliers on a hill along the Sonoma Coast a few years back and the image is still in my head.
